What Are You Reading Monday? #1

What Are You Reading Monday? is a weekly event hosted by J. Kaye’s Book Blog to discuss your reading week ~ the books you've read and those you plan on reading in the coming week.

The previous week was absolutely crazy for me! Starting my own book blog, trying to stop procrasting when it comes to studying for exams that are now way too close, as well as learning about so many great books from fellow bloggers. No wonder I didn't actually read much.

I did finish Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson. Feel free to check out my review here.

I also started reading The Mysteries of Udolpho, a long, gothic 18th-century novel by Ann Radcliffe. This is something I have to read for school, but still, it is rather interesting and I like it so far. Also, I started listening to the audiobook of Ellen Degeneres - The Funny Thing Is... It's too bad I won't be able to finish it any time soon. FInally, Freya North's Pillow Talk is still being read after roughly one month, simply because I cannot get around to it. You guys should expect these reviews soon, as I plan on finishing these books by the end of the week.

So, what are you reading?

I understand the time spent with the blogs, your own and following others, along with the many other chores of the days. I have been having a hard time finding the reading time lately. I will have to put myself on a limit as to not lose the times I enjoy.

But this week I have picked up where I left off on with The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

By the way, I have an award for you over on my blog. Enjoy the fun!

I'm rushing to finish MAX from the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson so my niece can have it. When I finish that I plan on reading City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare so I can get to the last book and finish that series too.

*sigh* I have a big stack of books to get to but it's hard when I need to spend time writing my own!

Great blog, welcome to the fun!

Hey Congrats on your new blog! Thanks for stopping over mine and joining up too!

I just finished Up for Renewal by Cathy Alter. It's a memoir she wrote about her year of changing her life around by ONLY following advice from magazines! Next on the reading list is The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami. It's part of the Japanese literature challenge I signed up for.

I have yet to read a book by MaryJanice Davidson and that's sort of strange since I love paranormal books!

Oh, I read P&P and Zombies! Supper funny, but there could've been more Zombie mayhem, in my opinion!
